The Central Carolina Academy chapter of DECA, an organization of marketing students, was successful in district competition on Wednesday, November 30. Four CCA students placed in the top 10 for either highest test score, role play and overall in the categories of Apparel & Accessories Marketing and Quick Serve Restaurant Management. One junior, Alizah O’Quinn, who was a first-time competitor, placed second overall in the Principles of Marketing category. The chapter, with advisor and Marketing teacher Natalie Chubbs, will now begin preparing for the state competition in February.
