Renovation Progress

The Central Carolina Academy building renovation is nearing completion. Phase 2 began last fall and involves the first and second floors of the former corporate building. The third floor was renovated in phase one and, with its completion in August of 2022, allowed students and staff to hold classes onsite during the 2022-2023 school year. Having the full building ready in time for the 2023-2024 school year to begin will be exciting for current and new students and staff.

In addition to traditional classrooms like those on the third floor, special features will include two classrooms on the second floor with a connecting set of garage doors that will allow the rooms to be opened for large group meetings or instructional collaborations. There will also be a similar setup between two classes on the first floor. Small study rooms will be located across the hall from the first floor double room. A lunch area will also be located on the first floor.

The school administration plans to host opportunities for campus visits prior to the first day of school on August 10th. Stay tuned to Eagle News and CCA social media for updates.
